Interrupted phase alarm (05/09/2011)

The stepper motor drives of the xS10, DS30 and DS5x series implement a special technology able to detect the interrupted phase condition.

This characteristic, hard to find in other drives, is particularly useful when the motor is used in open loop because it allows to know in advance whether there are cabling problems or motor failures that will prevent the correct execution of the next movement.
