The CNV3030 interface is able to add an RS485 port to a PC using the USB connection.

Thanks to the supplied software drivers, the RS485 port is seen by the operating system as a standard serial port.

The applications can handle the communication as if it was a PC standard serial port because the CNV3030 interface provides to automatically switch the RS485 line from reception to transmission and vice versa quickly and reliably.

The CNV3030 does not require power supply and galvanically isolates the RS85 port from the PC.
